The Amazing Spider-Man is the character's flagship series. It was the sole monthly series devoted only to Spider-Man until December 1976 when Peter Parker, The Spectacular Spider-Man was introduced. Many titles have since come and gone, often with several monthly series released on different weeks of the month, and sharing the character's primary storyline. Amazing, however, has continued regularly, almost without exception, ever since 1963.
